Jonas Lamauskas (tenor) was born in Šiauliai where he graduated from the children‘s music school in 1988. Later he entered Sondeckis Art School and studied choir conducting. He later on continued his studies in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, mastered vocal singing and graduated in 2005. In the same year Jonas participated in concerts with the symphonic orchestra of Šiauliai in Juventus festival. During his studies he started to create roles in the Kaunas State Musical Theatre and he is a singer there since 2005. Jonas successfully participated in II Tiit Kuusik International Lied Competition and became its laureate in 2012.
