Gintaras Visockis
Gintaras Visockis is adancer and choreographer who graduated from the Kaunas State Musical Theatre ballet studies and started working as a dancer in the theatre in 1994.
He successfully started his career and in 2003 he was awarded as the best artist in the ballet troupe.
In 2003 Gintaras participated in step-dance seminars in Poland and inspired by these seminars he himself established a step-dance troupe Funny Beat.
In 2005 he received the Nightingale prize as the best ballet dancer in the troupe.
In 2010 he performed as Count Alexei Kirillovich Vronsky in Anna Karenina (choreography by Cholina).
In 2010 Gintaras and his colleague Dainius Bervingis created the dance performance Glitter of Gutter and Gintaras himself performed the role of the main character.
In 2013 Gintaras and Dainius received Fortūna prize for their choreography for Siegfried Werner Cabaret.
Gintaras created characters in these performances:
Spider in Spider’s Wedding,
Kay in The Snow Queen,
Young man in Glitter of Gutter,
Quasimodo and Phoebus in Notre-Dame de Paris.
