Aleksandras Jankauskas

Dancer and choreographer. He graduated from Uzbekistan choreography school.
From 1995 to 2005 he worked in Klaipėda Musical Theatre as a dancer.
In 2001 Aleksandras participated in the festival New Form and created a dance performance Angel Suite (music by Piazzolla).
In 2010 he established a modern dance study Alter Ego which later released performance Quo Vadis (music by Rachmaninov).
In 2002 Aleksandras received a master-class certificate for participating in Exercise 2002 in Saint Petersburg.
In 2003 he organized a performance Joker in Klaipėda.
A couple of choreographic performances were presented in the festival Musical August in 2004.
In 2004 Aleksandras received a certificate from Canon Dance which is a school of modern dances.

Since 2005 he specializes as a choreography teacher in various dance schools in Kaunas and works as a dancer in the Kaunas State Musical Theatre, as well.
In 2007 he created the performance for children entitled The Christmas Tale.
In 2008 Aleksandras received a Master’s degree in University of Klaipėda.
In 2008 he created choreography for The Snow Queen (music by Grieg).
In 2010 he had an internship in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s conservatory in Saint Petersburg.
In the same year he created the choreography for Viennese Blood by Strauss.
In 2013 he staged a dance performance Notre-Dame de Paris.
