KRISTINA SIURBYTĖ
Singer Kristina Siurbytė was born in Kaunas and studied in Aušra Secondary School and in the music school No 1. During her studies she had been singing in the music ensemble Pastoral. She entered the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1993 and studied solo singing. Later on she successfully graduated in 2002 and received a Master’s degree. Also, Kristina improved her singer’s skills in Austria under guidance by singer Scotto and professor Loibl.
Soloist Kristina sings together with Kaunas and Panevėžys Chamber Music Orchestras regularly participates in other cities of Lithuania and successfully collaborates with National Symphonic Orchestra which is led by Gintaras Rinkevičius. Also Kristina had tours in Austria, Sweden and the Czech Republic. She works as a singer in Kaunas State Musical Theatre since 2002.
Kristina received Fortūna diploma in 2007 for her role in Countess Mariza and The Beggar Student. Couple of years later she received Fortūna award for major roles in Madame Pompadour and Viennese Blood. She also is a laureate of a Golden Stage Cross for her performances in operas and operettas. Kristina received one more Fortūna diploma in 2013 for her role as Stivi in the performance Silvija in Kaunas Little Theatre.
